The service
QuoteRail(“QuoteRail”, “we”, “us”) operates a trade-in pricing and routing platform for wireless retailers. By signing up a workspace and using the product you (“you”, the “workspace”) agree to these terms. If the workspace is being set up on behalf of an organization, the person accepting these terms represents that they have authority to bind that organization, and “you” refers to that organization from there on out.
Your account + workspace
- Workspace owner
- The first person who signs up a workspace is the workspace owner. The workspace owner can invite seats, assign roles, and is the billing contact for the workspace.
- Seats
- Every seat is one named individual. Sharing a seat across multiple people voids the tier caps and is grounds for suspension of the seat at minimum.
- Workspace data
- Quotes, routing rules, condition grades, and stream configurations live in a per-workspace tenant. Other workspaces cannot read your tenant and you cannot read theirs.
- Credentials
- You are responsible for the security of the credentials issued to your seats. Notify us the moment a credential is compromised so we can revoke the session before it is misused.
Acceptable use
QuoteRail exists to price and route real trade-ins on behalf of one retail tenant. You agree not to scrape or republish the underlying resale-market stream, not to inject quotes that were not actually built against a real trade-in, and not to share workspace credentials across teams that should be sitting on separate seats. You also agree not to reverse-engineer the routing decision or the condition multipliers, and not to use the workspace to train a competing product on the streams we read from.
Fees + billing
The pricing page lists the tiers and the monthly rate that goes with each. Today the workspace runs on a free preview while the paid plans are finalized — once billing activates, the tier you pick bills month-to-month against the card on file, prorated to the day when you change tiers. Annual prepay unlocks the 15% discount if your finance team wants it; otherwise you cancel from the workspace and walk. We will give you at least 30 days notice before any rate change takes effect on an existing workspace.
Termination
- You can cancel
- Cancel from your workspace at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we keep your quote and routing rows on the wind-down window described in /privacy so finance can close the books.
- We can suspend
- We may suspend a workspace that is abusing the stream, the routing surface, or another workspace's tenant. We will surface what we found before we act unless the abuse is ongoing and active.
- Survival
- Sections that by their nature should survive termination (liability cap, dispute resolution, contact line) survive the end of the workspace.
Liability disclaimer
QuoteRail prices and routes trade-ins off a live upstream stream. We build the routes to the highest observed net-after-fee at quote time, but the buyer lanes run their own grading and the payout they ultimately settle on is theirs — not ours. The product is provided “as is”, without warranty of any specific payout, quote volume, or uptime beyond the SLA your tier carries. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim; we are not liable for lost profits, lost goodwill, or indirect damages to the extent the law allows us to disclaim them.
